Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Fixhora mobile application. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Fixhora platform, which is operated by Fixhora ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using the Fixhora app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.

1. What Is Fixhora?
Fixhora is a hyperlocal task marketplace that connects Users (people who need help with everyday tasks) with Helpers (people who complete those tasks for payment) in Dehradun and Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India.
Fixhora provides the platform and technology to facilitate this connection. We are not a staffing agency, employer, or service provider. We do not employ helpers, and we do not guarantee the quality, timing, or outcome of any task.
Tasks are organised into four categories: Cleaning, Delivery, Errands, and Shifting. The platform operates on a first-come-first-served basis — no bidding, no negotiation, no auction.
2. Payments and Fees
All payments are made directly between the User and the Helper. Fixhora does not process, hold, or facilitate any payment. Once a task is completed, the User pays the Helper via cash or UPI — directly, person-to-person.
Fixhora takes zero commission on any transaction in the current version of the platform. There are no platform fees, service charges, or hidden costs.
Because payments are handled entirely outside the app, Fixhora is not responsible for any payment disputes, non-payment, overpayment, or fraudulent payment attempts. Users and Helpers are solely responsible for their direct financial transactions.
3. Eligibility and Account Requirements
To use Fixhora, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid Indian mobile phone number for account verification.
- Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself, including your name and profile photo.
- Be located in or near Dehradun or Rishikesh to post or accept tasks.
By creating an account, you represent that you meet all of the above requirements. If we discover that you have provided false information or do not meet the eligibility criteria, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete your account.
4. User Responsibilities
As a User posting tasks, you agree to:
- Post only lawful tasks that do not violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Provide accurate task descriptions, fair locations, and honest photos.
- Not post tasks that involve illegal activities, adult content, dangerous work without appropriate disclosure, or anything that could harm a Helper.
- Pay the Helper the agreed amount promptly after task completion.
- Treat Helpers with respect and not engage in harassment, abuse, or discrimination.
- Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
5. Helper Responsibilities
As a Helper accepting tasks, you agree to:
- Only accept tasks you are genuinely willing and able to complete.
- Complete accepted tasks in a professional and timely manner.
- Communicate with the User promptly through the in-app chat if any issues arise.
- If you cannot complete a task, cancel it promptly through the app so the User can seek help elsewhere. Do not ghost or abandon tasks without notice.
- Not misrepresent your skills, experience, or availability when accepting tasks.
- Treat Users with respect and not engage in harassment, abuse, or discrimination.
- Comply with all applicable laws while performing tasks, including road safety, labour, and health laws.
Repeated task abandonments, ghosting, or complaints from Users will result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
6. Prohibited Conduct
All users (both Users and Helpers) are prohibited from:
- Using the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
- Attempting to move transactions off-platform in a way that harms the other party.
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
- Posting false reviews or manipulating ratings.
- Scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with the platform's infrastructure.
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating another person.
- Using the platform in a way that could damage Fixhora's reputation or operations.
7. Limitation of Liability
Fixhora is a technology platform, not a service provider. We facilitate connections between independent parties and do not supervise, direct, or control the work performed.
Fixhora is not liable for:
- The quality, timeliness, or outcome of any task performed by a Helper.
- Any payment disputes, refusals to pay, or financial losses arising from direct transactions between Users and Helpers.
- Physical injury, property damage, or personal harm arising from the performance of a task.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Users and Helpers engage with each other at their own risk. We strongly recommend exercising common sense and caution — do not allow strangers into your home unsupervised, do not accept tasks that seem unsafe, and do not share financial information outside the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fixhora's total liability to any user for any claim arising out of these Terms or use of the platform shall not exceed INR 500.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete any account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, if we determine that the account:
- Has violated these Terms of Service or our Privacy Policy.
- Has engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour.
- Is associated with illegal activity.
- Has received repeated complaints from other users that we consider credible.
If your account is suspended and you believe it was in error, please contact us at contact@fixhora.com with details and we will review the matter.
You may also delete your own account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
9. Ratings and Reviews
After each completed task, both the User and the Helper are invited to rate each other (1–5 stars). Ratings are displayed publicly on user profiles to help build trust on the platform.
Ratings must be honest and reflect your genuine experience. Manipulating ratings — including incentivising positive reviews or leaving false negative reviews — is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
10. Intellectual Property
The Fixhora name, logo, app design, and all related intellectual property are owned by Fixhora. You may not use, copy, or reproduce any Fixhora branding or content without our explicit written permission.
Content you create on the platform (task descriptions, photos, messages) remains yours. By posting it, you grant Fixhora a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the app for the purpose of operating the service.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Fixhora platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttarakhand, India.

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notification. The updated Terms will be available at fixhora.com/terms. Your continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
